What are they thinking or talking about?

Pont Saint Michel – 3:45PM
“Don’t you know they’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper…
While they’re standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion
Don’t you know you’re talking about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper…”

There is a bunch of toothbrushes in my bathroom as if i was living in an overcrowded family!! I know the blue one on the right is mine but the others, I have no clue to whom they might belong! I preferred if there was just one “guest toothbrush” for all and every guests staying in my place but all these nearly same shape same color toothbrushes are really confusing!!  So dear friends and guests if any of you recognizes his or her toothbrush please contact me soon!

Place de la Sorbonne – 5:35PM
Once there were different leftist political groups and student activists having theirs stands here in front of the university of Sorbonne, discussing with pedestrians about how they wanted to change the world. Meanwhile the world changed and if you go these days in front of Sorbonne you can see a group of professional masseurs giving you a 10 minutes massage for free! Good idea for workers returning home at the end of their day’s work!

After spending much time and energy, i was able to make a cross-cut on a thick tree trunk.
As it would be expected, once you can see inside the tree trunks, there is an amazing life going on. Alleys, cars, human, shadows, colorful furnitures …!
Home – 6:45PM
Imprisoned at home, no way out! Working hard to have no time to think… No force, no idea, even to take a picture. Looking outside from my window, it’s gray, a dirty gray which takes us directly from summer to winter, even the green of the leaves has a layer of a jerky gray…

Pont de Verdun – 3:15PM
Velitation before Levitation !
Home – 11:10PM
I am watching this movie Eva made by Joseph Losey, and each time I see Jeanne Moreau’s face, I can’t stop thinking of this other movie Jules et Jim and the song Le tourbillon de la vie that she sings in the movie :
” She had rings on her fingers, bracelets on her arm. And she sang in a voice that soon wove its charm. Bewitched was I by her pale opal eyes. And her pale oval face seemed to hypnotize. We met, we knew, we lost each other from view. We met we restarted, then once again parted. Each blown their way by the whirlwind of life. I saw her again one evening, now ages ago. She smiled once more to the sound of banjos. I got drunk as I listened, moved more and more. Alcohol makes one forget what happened before. I woke to her kisses on my burning brow. We met, we knew, we lost each other from view. We met, we parted…then once again restarted. Each blown their way by the whirlwind of life. I saw her again and she fell into my arms. When one has met,  why lose each other from view? When one has started again, why separate? So we were blown together in the whirlwind of life. In each other’s arms we continued to turn.”
I sing it again and again : “Each blown their way by the whirlwind of life…”

Gale de la Savatte – 5:30PM
I could not get what does he do !
Shakespeare and Company library – 4:20PM
“In those days there was no money to buy books. I borrowed book from the rental library of Shakespeare and Company, which was the library and bookstore of Sylvia Beach at 12 rue de l’Odeon. On a cold windswept street, this was a warm, cheerful place with a big stove in winter, tables and shelves of books, new books in the window, and photographs on the wall of famous writers both dead and living. The photographs all looked like snapshots and even the dead writers looked as though they had really been alive. Sylvia had a lively, shaprly sculptured face, brown eyes that were as alive as a small animal’s and as gay as a young girl’s, and wavy brown hair that was brushed back from her fine forehead and cut thick below her ears and at the line of the collar of the brown velvet jacket she wore. She had pretty legs and she was kind, cheerful and interested, and loved to make jokes and gossip. No one that I ever knew was nicer to me.
I was very shy when I first went into the bookshop and I did not have enough money on me to join the rental library. she told me I could pay the deposit any time I had the money and made me out a card and said I could take as many books as I wished. There was no reason for her to trust me. She did not know me and the address I had given her, 74 rue Cardinal Lemoine, could not have been a poorer one. But she was delightful and charming and welcoming and behind her, as high as the wall and stretching out into the back room which gave onto the inner court of the building, were shelves and shelves of the wealth of the library.”

Rue Franklin – 3:15PM
The worker at construction site. I took some pictures of him but each time, his face became all black as there was too much light around him. I told him so and we laughed together. He said : I am as dark as night this is the reason, and me trying to be polite!! was saying : no, this is my iphone not working well!! So we tried again together and finally this is his beautiful smiley face appearing on my photo.
